1. Introduction & Scope

Beloid B.V. (“Beloid”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, safeguard, retain, and protect personal data when you access or use The Discipline App, our website, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). This policy applies to all users worldwide. Where local laws impose additional requirements, those rights and protections apply.

3. Overview of the Service

The Discipline App enables users to:

Important: Users never see each other’s underlying health data — only each other’s Discipline Scores and any public profile information chosen by the user.

4. Categories of Personal Data We Process

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

Email address; Account credentials; Profile settings & preferences; Support communications; Survey responses, feedback, and correspondence.

4.2 Health & Fitness Data (Special Category Data)

With your explicit consent, we process selected Apple Health & Fitness data, such as activity levels, workouts, movement and performance metrics, and fitness progress indicators. Health data is processed primarily on your device and transmitted externally only where necessary to deliver core service functionality. We do not sell health data and do not use it for advertising.

4.3 Automatically Collected Technical & Usage Data

Device type, operating system, app version; IP address, timestamps, crash reports; log files, error reports; feature usage, interaction patterns, performance metrics.

4.4 Competition & Visibility Data

Discipline Score; Ranking position; Public username (if selected by the user).

5. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes: providing, operating, and maintaining the Service; creating and managing user accounts; calculating Discipline Scores and enabling competitions; generating personalized recommendations and insights; product analytics, research, and service improvement; security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection; customer support and communications; compliance with legal and regulatory obligations; enforcement of agreements and dispute resolution.

You may withdraw consent at any time via in-app settings.

7. Automated Processing & Recommendations

We use automated analytical systems to generate personalized recommendations and improve performance, stability, and user experience. These systems do not make decisions that produce legal, medical, financial, or similarly significant effects on users.

8. Data Sharing & Processors

We do not sell personal data. We may share personal data with trusted service providers that perform services on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure & hosting, security & monitoring, analytics & performance tools, and customer support platforms. All processors are bound by contractual obligations to protect data and comply with applicable privacy laws.

9. International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we apply appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent protections.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security and integrity. Data is then securely deleted, anonymized, or archived.

11. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent. 12. Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age.

14. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or other appropriate channels.

15. Analytics & Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to collect aggregated usage information and session recordings (for example: page views, clicks, mouse movement, scroll behavior, device and browser information, and anonymized technical data) to help us improve the Service. Clarity does not collect health or other sensitive personal data as part of our implementation.

Legal basis (GDPR): For users in the European Economic Area we rely on your explicit consent for analytics and session recording; where applicable we will obtain consent prior to enabling Clarity. You can manage or withdraw analytics consent at any time via the app’s settings or by contacting us at hello@beloid.net. After you withdraw consent we will stop sending data to Microsoft Clarity for your account and will take reasonable steps to request deletion of any recordings associated with you.
